EGO products are made using specific aluminium sections. This material has been selected for its excellent resistance to corrosion. Some parts are cast and injection moulded in a light alloy. Accessories and fasteners are in stainless steel. Sections are thermo bonded using a polyester powder that is highly UV and weather resistant.

Made in France, the meshwork used by Ego is made from high-resistance polyester wire, 100% sheathed in volume-dyed PVC. The cane is rot-proof and UV-treated. High frequency welding is used for maximum solidity. Very pleasant to the touch.

The teak used for the tabletop and the elbow rests is high-quality species, from the heart of the wood. It is prepared in Asia under fair trade conditions, carefully sanded with the finest paper and nourished with a protective sealer.

Corian®, a top-range material, is an advanced blend of 2/3 natural minerals and 1/3 acrylic resin. It is a solid material that is both traditional and leading edge. Despite its satin feel, it resists the ravages of the weather (rain, U.V, etc.) and the strains of daily life (stains, scrapes, burns, etc.)
